What to say about Leo Mas? A legendary DJ, one of the best selectors in the game for years now. Among the originators of the true balearic beat in the White Isle during the 1980s and the 1990s, Leo did not rest on his laurels, but he eclectically listens to new music and transfers the best of it to his great sets: from ambient and downtempo to dance and house. 

In his mix for our blog, Leo defines the mellower side of the nowadays "balearic" sound, with open mind and high aesthetics.

10 years of music on air: guest mix 04 // Satori Minayia - Random Smiles

Πίσω από το καλλιτεχνικό ψευδώνυμο Satori Minayia κρύβεται ένας μυστηριώδης μουσικός και παραγωγός από την Ελλάδα, ο οποίος διατηρεί μεν ένα χαμηλό προφίλ, αλλά η μουσική του είναι εξαιρετική, ένα κορυφαίο δείγμα της σημερινής εντόπιας electronica με δυνατότητες, βέβαια, για ένα παγκόσμιο ακροατήριο. Ως σήμερα έχει κυκλοφορήσει δύο άλμπουμ στην καναδέζικη δισκογραφική Pyramid Blood, το πρώτο με τίτλο Unified Field το 2020 και φέτος το δεύτερο, με τίτλο Icaro. 

Στο guest set που ετοίμασε για τα 10 χρόνια του blog, παίζει με μια "moody n' groovy" βεντάλια μουσικών ειδών,  ξεκινώντας από το ηλεκτρονικό post-rock, για να φτάσει σε ένα ατμοσφαιρικό midtempo deep house, χωρίς να χάσει μια υπόγεια ροκ αίσθηση και αισθητική.
